Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- Stalls serving Kangso mineral water have grown in number along streets of Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, amid the persistent sultry weather.
Kim Wol Suk, a saleswoman at a stall in Ponghwa Street, Pothonggang District, told KCNA: Nowadays many citizens are visiting mineral water stalls more often than other beverage stalls. There are Kangso mineral water stands at department stores and groceries, too, but citizens like to take this mineral water at stalls along streets. They say in unison that the refreshing Kangso mineral water is the best in hot weather.
The Kangso mineral water is a natural beverage that has gushed out from hundreds of years ago in Yaksu-ri, Kangso District of Nampho City, about 30 kilometers west of Pyongyang. Contained in this water are micro elements good for human health as ionic state favorable to absorption.
In the area there is the modern Kangso Mineral Water Factory.
When visiting the factory in June Juche 106 (2017), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un set forth such vital tasks facing it as raising the quality of mineral water and increasing its production, saying that the factory has very important duty and role to play in protecting and promoting the people's health.
The Kangso mineral water won a high appreciation at various domestic exhibitions for its good taste and quality and a SGS certification. -0-
