Rodong Sinmun Calls on Officials to Look after Destiny and Life of People with Responsibility

Pyongyang, August 2 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Monday in an editorial calls on all the officials to be genuine revolutionary soldiers sharing their intention, breath and step with the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un making total dedication to the people regarding their trust as the best asset.
For our Party nothing is more important than to defend the wellbeing, rights and interests of the people and to solve issues urgent to them, the editorial says, and goes on:
That our people are braving harsh challenges in which others would find hard to sustain even a month is attributable to the firm belief cherished by them that they can surely overcome trials and have bright future if there is the General Secretary.
Where our officials, revolutionary soldiers of the General Secretary, should be now is where there are people weathering all trials, and the harsher the trial gets, the stronger love they should show for the people.
They should not just make pledges in tears seeing the ardent love and self-sacrificing dedication of the General Secretary for the people, but become truthful loyalists upholding the Party Central Committee with substantial achievements helpful to the people.
They should adopt transparent attitude and stand to take full responsibilities before the Party for the destiny and life of residents and working people in their regions and units.
So huge is the trust and expectation of the Party for the officials, the editorial says, stressing that only when they rise up as one and exert energetic efforts, will there be substantial turn in stabilizing and improving the quality of people's living and will the building of an ideal society for the people be accelerated. -0-
