A photo exhibition was held at the embassy of the Russian Federation in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on the 3rd on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the great leader Kim Jong Il's historic visit to Russia and the 10th anniversary of his visit to the Siberian and Far Eastern region.
Displayed at the exhibition hall were photos of the great leader Kim Jong Il and the respected Kim Jong Un who performed immortal exploits for strengthening and development of the DPRK-Russia friendship with their energetic external activities.
Vice Foreign Minister Im Chon Il and officials concerned were invited to the exhibition.
Present on the occasion were Alexandr Matsegora, Ambassador E.P. of the Russian Federation to the DPRK, and his embassy staff members.
Speeches were made.
Speakers said the historic Russian visits of Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un were important events which rendered distinguished services to further developing the DPRK-Russia friendly relations and ensuring regional peace and security.
The meetings and talks between the leaders of the two countries marked historic occasions in providing the new motive force of the development of the DPRK-Russia relations and laying a solid foundation for expanding diversified cooperation between the two countries, they stressed.
Noting that constantly consolidating and developing the friendly and cooperative relations on the principle of equality and mutual benefit is an important guarantee for the prosperity of the peoples of the two countries, they expressed the belief that the agreements reached at the DPRK-Russia summit meetings and talks would be wonderfully realized by the joint efforts of both sides.
