Pyongyang, August 5 (KCNA) -- A rally of citizens in Fukuoka Prefecture of Japan took place at Kyushu Korean Middle and High School on July 17 in protest against the unjust judgment made by the Japanese Supreme Court pursuant to the Japanese regime's discriminatory measure against Korean schools.

Participants in the rally recalled that Koreans in Japan and students of Korean schools have staged actions in solidarity with the civic and social organizations of Japan to urge the Japanese regime to lift the policy of discrimination against Korean students.

They accused the court authorities of turning down the appeal lodged by Koreans in demand of the application of the tuition-free program for senior high schools to the Korean students.

They termed it an unjust judgment made at the beck and call of the Japanese regime pursuing the policy of discrimination against Koreans in Japan.

They declared that they would stage a ceaseless struggle to preserve their right to national education. -0-
