Pyongyang, August 5 (KCNA) -- North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK is consolidating the foundations for producing building materials with its efforts, technology and resources.
The province pushes ahead with the project for expanding the capacity of the Kyongam Cement Factory, putting big efforts into remodeling the cement factories in cities and counties.
A base for producing building parts and elements was built at a building materials factory of the province. A granite mine is being transformed into a comprehensive base for producing building stones.
The province also pays attention to establishing a line for producing various kinds of finishing building materials with locally available raw materials.
It pushes forward with the construction of a general building materials factory. It also makes sure that construction units produce various kinds of finishing building materials after laying their own foundations for producing building materials.
Cities and counties of the province built and operate their own bases for producing building materials with locally available raw materials.
They vie with each other to produce more roofing materials and paint needed for local construction projects. -0-
