All-out Campaign for Recovery from Flood Damage Launched in South Hamgyong Province

Pyongyang, August 10 (KCNA) -- Officials, people and service personnel in South Hamgyong Province turned out in the campaign for eradicating the aftermath of natural disaster as soon as possible, true to the order issued by the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The roads destroyed by heavy rain and flood are being restored.
In order to restore the road between Yonggwang County and Sinhung County, units of the Korean People's Army are rebuilding broken embankments while increasing the operation rate of building machines.
The might of the army-people great unity is being fully displayed in the campaign for restoring roads.
Construction of dwelling houses is underway in the disaster-hit areas.
Leading officials of city and county Party committees brought the field investigation teams in their charge to the disaster-hit areas to learn in detail about the situation.
Construction forces were formed in cities and counties and dispatched to relevant areas.
Underway is the work for fixing the sites of dwelling houses and public buildings and quickly finish the designing. Relevant units strive to produce and supply wood, various plastic tubes, fittings, titles and others.
Support for the people in the disaster-hit areas gets brisk.
Officials of the provincial organs visit the disaster-hit areas to relieve the troubles of people.
Aid materials associated with the sincerity of people in other parts of the province are being sent to the disaster-hit areas. -0-
