Pyongyang, August 31 (KCNA) -- Young people of the DPRK have fully demonstrated their wisdom, courage and patriotic enthusiasm in all sectors of socialist construction.
More than 200 000 officials and members of the youth league have conducted dynamic activities of youth shock brigade in major construction sites, industrial establishments and cooperative farms across the country.
Members of the youth shock brigade give full play to their spirit and stamina at the construction of Samjiyon City, the sacred land of the revolution.
They wage a devoted struggle despite the unfavorable climatic conditions in the northernmost part of the county out of the will to successfully complete the third-stage project for sprucing up Samjiyon City within the period set by the Party.
At the construction of 10 000 flats in Pyongyang, commanding officials and members of the High-Speed Youth Shock Brigade Management Bureau have pushed ahead with the construction projects in their charge, thus taking the lead in the second-phase socialist emulation drive involving all the units taking part in the construction.
Commanding officials and members of the August 28 Youth Shock Brigade Management Bureau add glory to the honor of the Korean youth in underground cutting faces, construction sites and factories.
Young people in major sectors of national economy including metallurgical, chemical, electrical and coal industries have conducted dynamic activities of youth shock brigade to make a breakthrough in the implementation of the new five-year plan for national economic development. Young people in South Hamgyong Province make innovations in the campaign of recovery from flood damage.
Young people in South Hwanghae Province devotedly work in socialist co-op farms. Through the activities of youth shock brigade, young people in North Hwanghae, Kangwon and Jagang provinces fully demonstrate the revolutionary spirit and militant stamina of the Korean youth in the on-going general advance. -0-
