Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- Different places around the country have carried out tasks for different indices of the plan of the general mobilization for land administration including river improvement and technical improvement of roads.
Jagang Province has undertaken various projects, improving tens of kilometers of road sections, improving rivers, building bridges and repairing thousands of dwelling houses and public buildings.
North Phyongan Province has simultaneously pushed ahead with flood control construction for scores of projects and other construction tasks.
Unsan County has made efforts for river improvement to put tens of hectares of more land under cultivation this year while Yomju County has turned the Yomju Youth Fish Farm into an example fish farm of the country.
South Hwanghae Province has conducted river improvement well, providing a guarantee for the stable grain production in large areas of farmland.
Suan County in North Hwanghae Province has increased the ability of water passage in medium and small rivers through dredging and reinforcement of embankments in river sections extending tens of kilometers. It has also repaired roads and bridges qualitatively to successfully ensure convenience of transport.
The Central Committee of the youth league, the Ministry of Fisheries, the Ministry of Light Industry, etc. have helped the land management of provinces, cities and counties as they would do their own work. -0-
