Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- Pukchong County of the DPRK has a good crop of fruit.
After setting a high goal of fruit production since early this year the county has made scrupulous economic arrangements to firmly cement material and technological foundations and boost productivity under the banner of scientific fruit farming, thus bringing about a bumper harvest.
The working people of the Ryongjon Fruit Farm are pushing ahead with the picking, grading and carrying of fruit under a detailed plan of harvesting.
Other fruit farms, that have increased the per-hectare yield and improved the nutrition of the trees, are picking tasty and sweet fruit.
The county is mobilizing labor and transport means in a rational way to carry the picked fruit in time and store them in compliance with rules. -0-
