Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA) -- Women's union organizations at all levels have directed efforts to the autumn campaign for land administration.
The Central Committee of the women's union encourages various public campaigns and socialist emulation drives to arouse the enthusiasm of its members.
The Ryongsong District Committee of the women's union in Pyongyang dredged over 400 cubic meters of earth in the River Hapjang, finished over 700 meter-long revetment and rearranged its vicinity areas in a short span of time. The Mangyongdae District Committee of the women's union has carefully tendered trees of good species like large chestnut tree while increasing the rate of rooting.
The women's union committees of Hwangju and Thosan counties in North Hwanghae Province completed the pavement and repair of roads extending several kilometers and planted roadside trees, thus contributing to sprucing up the appearance of counties.
Women's union organizations in South Hwanghae Province have rearranged sewage and drainage systems and created greenbelts in a qualitative way to keep streets and villages neat and tidy.
