Pyongyang, September 28 (KCNA) -- Tree nurseries in the field of land and environment protection have produced saplings of scores of good species to be planted in the autumn.
Officials and employees of the Central Tree Nursery under the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection have grown tens of millions of saplings including Aronia Melanocarpa by developing and applying various nutrients and growth stimulants.
The Kangwon Provincial Tree Nursery and others have consolidated their own material and technological foundations for putting the sapling production on a scientific, industrial and intensive basis, thus producing lots of young pine-nut trees, chestnut trees and Larix lepolepis.
Working people in other areas produced robust saplings to be planted for afforestation and the supply of raw materials to the local industrial establishments. -0-
