Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun says in an article on Saturday that it is the ardent desire and iron will of the Korean people to achieve a comprehensive development of Korean-style socialism, remaining faithful to the idea and leadership of the Party.
The article notes that it is the immutable truth grasped by the Korean people on the road of protracted revolution that they have nothing to fear and can surely bring earlier the rosy future of a prosperous country by dint of self-reliance as long as they are guided by the Workers' Party of Korea.
It goes on:
Our people led by the great Party have demonstrated their dignity as the revolutionary people invariably advancing along the road of independence and socialism despite the present complicated situation and environment.
Over the past ten years, our people have undergone the worst ordeals in which a slight misstep may nullify all the things they have gained with much effort and cause a setback of the revolution.
However, they have struggled full of faith and vigor in the face of a harsh environment and conditions, free from any political unrest and vacillation.
This is because our Party clearly indicates the orientation and ways of the people's struggle.
Our people led by the great Party have displayed the might as the most powerful people making epoch-making miracles and changes despite the harsh trials unprecedented in history.
They have acquired the ways of defending themselves in ordeals, breaking through head-on all challenges, and grown up to be able builders of socialism, who create their happy life with their own efforts, under the guidance of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.
They also demonstrate their honor of being the highly civilized people who live harmoniously, while maintaining their pure humanity and noble morals, in this world being plagued by the degenerate bourgeois idea and culture.
The article calls upon all officials, Party members and working people to thoroughly implement the tasks set forth at the Party Congress, cherishing the great honor and happiness of making revolution under the leadership of the invincible WPK, and thus make a tangible contribution to putting the socialist construction on a fresh development stage.
