National Sci-Tech Presentation in Field of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry Held

Pyongyang, October 14 (KCNA) -- A national sci-tech presentation in the field of veterinary science and animal husbandry was held through video conferencing on Oct. 12 and 13 under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.
Participating in the presentation were scientists, technicians and field officials at over 20 units, including the Microbiological Research Institute under the State Academy of Sciences, the Zootechny Institute under the Academy of Agricultural Science, Pyongyang University of Agriculture, Phyongsong University of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry and the Kuwa Co-op Farm in Anak County.
Submitted to the presentation were more than 50 valuable treatises on achievements made in scientific researches and production for the development of stockbreeding.
The presentation was aimed at popularizing sci-tech successes and experience which make substantial contributions to the implementation of the Party's childcare policy.
During the presentation there were technical lectures on sci-tech issues arising in milk production and on the technique for the production and transplantation of an embryo of a milking cow of a good breed. -0-
