The East European and Central Asian Regional Internet Seminar under the theme "Independence and Sovereignty Are the Goal of the 21st Century, Experience of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Party Building" was held in St. Petersburg of Russia on the 7th on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Present at the seminar were the International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics in East European and Central Asian Regions, chiefs of the Juche idea study organizations of different countries including Russia, Ukraine and Moldova and Juche idea followers.
At the seminar, a speaker said the great Kim Il Sung put forward not the existing theory but an original idea on party building suited to the reality of Korea and built the WPK into a vanguard organization of the working people.
He said the people-first principle is not an empty word for the WPK regarding it as a mode of its existence to make selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people and stressed that all the progressive political parties of the world should learn after the experience of the WPK.
Other speakers spoke highly of the immortal exploits performed by the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for the founding, strengthening and development of the WPK and affirmed that the cause of of the WPK for building a powerful socialist country would be surely accomplished thanks to the respected Kim Jong Un.
A message of greetings to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
