Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- Meetings and floral basket-laying ceremonies took place in Russia on Oct. 6 and 8 to mark the 76th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).
Attending there were personages of various units including the Amur Regional Branch Committee and the Khabarovsk Territorial Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Russian Blagobeshensk Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and the Lenin Young Communist League of the Russian Federation.
The second secretary of the Amur Regional Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said that President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il built the WPK to be the vanguard defending the interests of the people, and that the WPK is further developing into a genuine mother Party thanks to the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un thoroughly applying the people-first principle to the overall work of the Party.
The first secretary of the Khabarovsk Territorial Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said that the President laid organizational and ideological foundations for Party-founding during the anti-Japanese war and successfully accomplished the Party-building cause right after Korea's liberation.
The first secretary of the Central Committee of the Lenin Young Communist League of the Russian Federation highly praised Kim Jong Un for having developed the WPK into a revolutionary party and invincible leading force, in which the oneness of the idea and leadership has been more firmly ensured, for the past ten years.
The Communist Party of the Soviet Union held a meeting for marking the 76th anniversary of the founding of the WPK on Oct. 5.
The first secretary of its Central Committee noted that since its founding, the WPK has successfully played its role as the vanguard of the revolution.
He said that the WPK's politics of the love for the people is arousing the international community's admiration, adding that the WPK with the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as a guideline is invincible.
Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events held by the Khabarovsk Territorial Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the Central Committee of the Lenin Young Communist League of the Russian Federation. -0-
