Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), sent a reply message to Thongloun Sisoulith, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (LPDR), on October 14.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in the message expressed deep thanks to the general secretary of the C.C., LPRP for sending warm felicitations and best wishes on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the WPK and extending support and encouragement to the WPK and the DPRK people in their struggle for implementing the decisions made at the 8th Congress of the WPK.

Extending full support for the Lao people striving to implement the decisions made at the 11th Congress of the LPRP under the guidance of the LPRP, the message sincerely wished the general secretary of the C.C., LPRP greater success in his responsible work for strengthening the party and building a powerful and thriving socialist state.

It expressed belief that the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and the two countries would grow stronger.
