An enlarged meeting of the 15th Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea took place on October 19 through video-conferencing.
It was attended by members and alternate members of the Central Committee of the UAWK.
Central and local officials of the UAWK attended the meeting as observers.
They discussed how to thoroughly implement the important tasks set forth at the historic policy speech On the Orientation of Present Struggle for a Fresh Development of Socialist Construction the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un delivered at the Fifth Session of the 14th Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK.
Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the UAWK, called on all officials and members of the UAWK to discharge their duty as masters who are responsible for the supply of rice to the nation in the sacred struggle for the fresh development of socialist construction, true to the important tasks set forth in the administrative policy of the DPRK government.
Speeches were made at the meeting.
The meeting adopted a relevant decision after making a serious study of its draft and synthesizing suggested opinions.
