The number of centenarians has increased among the Korean people.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Kim Thae Suk, a centenarian living in Pyongyang.
A ceremony for conveying the birthday spread took place at neighborhood unit No. 38 of Ponghwa-dong in Pothonggang District.
Before the liberation of Korea she was subject to all sorts of hardships as a member of the ruined nation. It was not until President Kim Il Sung liberated the country that she could enjoy a worthwhile life as a master of the country.
She, being conscious of preciousness of the Workers' Party of Korea and the country, became a member of the Party before others and worked as an official of the women's union and in the public catering sector.
She is fond of reading and enjoying her remaining life in good health under the care of the officials of the dong, doctors, neighbors and the whole family members.
She requests her descendants and neighbors to do work for the socialist system of our country with sincerity.
