The Third Enlarged Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea (SWUK) was held through video conferencing on October 20.
Present there were members and alternate members of the Central Committee of the union.
Officials of the Central Committee and the provincial, city and county committees of the union were present as observers.
The meeting discussed the ways of thoroughly implementing the tasks set forth by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in his historic policy speech "On the Orientation of Present Struggle for a Fresh Development of Socialist Construction" at the 5th Session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK.
Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the C.C., SWUK, said in her report that officials and members of the union across the country were full of extraordinary revolutionary enthusiasm to vigorously advance toward a bright future under the leadership of the respected General Secretary, upon receiving an immortal great programme hardening firm faith in socialism and steadfast will.
She said that the women's union is now faced with an honorable duty to propel the ongoing all-people general march for the prosperity of our state by arousing all the union members to implementing the tasks set forth in the administrative policy of the DPRK government. She referred to the tasks to carry it out.
She called for thoroughly implementing the important tasks set forth in the historic policy speech made by the respected General Secretary, and thus vigorously propelling the new development of socialist construction of our own style with the Korean women's strong mental power and patriotic devotion.
Speeches were made at the meeting.
The meeting adopted a relevant resolution after studying a draft resolution.
