An enlarged meeting of the fourth plenary meeting of the Tenth Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League took place on October 20 through video-conferencing.
It was attended by members and alternate members of the SPYL Central Committee.
Present there as observers were youth league officials of ministries, national agencies and provinces.
The meeting discussed the matter of carrying out the important tasks set forth in the historic policy speech On the Orientation of Present Struggle for a Fresh Development of Socialist Construction delivered by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the Fifth Session of the 14th Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK.
Mun Chol, chairman of the youth league central committee, in his keynote speech said that the policy speech of General Secretary Kim Jong Un of the Workers’ Party of Korea is a fighting programme reflecting most accurately the requirements of the Korean revolution that entered a stage of radical development and an immortal programme that adds tremendous vitality and encouragement to the all-people struggle toward the goal of victory set by the Eighth Congress of the WPK, and proposed action plans for implementing the tasks set in the administrative policy.
Other speakers expressed their resolve to prepare young people as passionate fighters who are boundlessly loyal to the WPK’s ideas and leadership so as to fulfil their duty as youth political officials in the historic journey for adding brilliance to a new era of a great powerful nation, true to the decisions of the Eighth Party Congress and the administrative policy of the government.
The meeting adopted a relevant resolution on the basis of the study of its draft.
