Pyongyang, October 22 (KCNA) -- A national industrial art exhibition is now going on in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK. It was opened on October 6 to mark the 76th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The theme of the exhibition is "In our own way and by our own might and efforts".
Attracting the attention of visitors first are the industrial art designs guided by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un this year. They include designs of 110 h.p. tractor, 15-ton class truck, trolley bus and double-deck bus, which show the Korean people's spirit of self-reliance and the development of the country's heavy industry.
Those designs, combined with practical and aesthetical aspects, gain popularity among the vehicle producers.
Designs of indoor advertisements, to be installed at service amenities in Samjiyon City of Ryanggang Province and Wonsan Kalma coastal tourist area, and designs of school things, trademarks and school uniforms caught the eyes of creators with their aesthetic value.
Kim Un Hye, a creator of the Korean Industrial Art Studio, told KCNA that she looked round for two hours more than 110 pieces of designs guided by Kim Jong Un and they are all peculiar and wonderful.
And designs of building layout, architectural decoration, greening decoration and light and commercial industries show the aspiration of creators and fans for a highly civilized and happy life.
The exhibition offers an occasion for swapping the successes and experience made in the creation of industrial art works and deepening the relations between producers and creators. -0-
