Pyongyang, October 22 (KCNA) -- Foreign figures paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK missions in their countries on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea.

They laid floral baskets and bouquets at the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and the art pieces depicting them together and made bows.

The chairman of the Laos-Korea Friendship Association and his party, the general secretaries and members of the political bureaus of the Syrian Communist Party (Unified) and the Socialist Unionist Party of Syria, the general secretary of the France-Korea Friendship Association and his party, a member of the National Leadership of the Brazilian Democratic Workers' Party and the vice-chairman of the Socialist Freedom Party of Egypt also visited the DPRK missions.
