Young people in North Phyongan Province, who received the congratulatory message of General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea Kim Jong Un with deep emotion, continue to volunteer to the major sectors of socialist construction one after another full of the patriotic resolve to unsparingly devote themselves to the way of upholding the Party’s intention.
Many young men and women including Kim Jong Su, worker at the afforestation for erosion control station in Sakju County and also winner of Kim Il Sung Youth Honour Prize, volunteered for the Kujang Area Coal-mining Complex after pledging themselves to be labour innovators and performers of astonishing feats at coal mines, saying they could not contain themselves upon receipt of the congratulatory message overflowing with love and trust of the General Secretary.
Ri Hyang Jin, Han Un Ju and Ri Jong Ung, who finished the period of three-revolution team membership after graduating from universities, and some others settled at the Sinam Cooperative Farm in Ryongchon County and the Ryongbuk Cooperative Farm in Yomju County with the determination to exalt the honour of being patriotic youth by inheriting the noble spirit of the youth of previous generations who volunteered to work in mountains, at sea and in development areas to devote their blood and sweat in hearty response to the Party’s call.
And many others volunteered for establishments of major economic sectors including the General Tideland Reclamation Enterprise of North Phyongan Province, Sindo County Combined Reed Farm and forestry and fishery stations.
The number of such young volunteers continues to increase in cities and counties of the province.
Young people from ministries and national agencies are also volunteering to work at difficult and labour-consuming sectors of socialist construction by carrying forward the fighting spirit of youth in the Chollima era.
There was a meeting at the meeting hall of the Ministry of IT Industry on September 7 to congratulate such volunteers.
