Rodong Sinmun Calls for Displaying Strong Mental power of People of Powerful Country

Pyongyang, October 27 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun on Wednesday says in an article that it is the steadfast faith and will of our people who turned out in the general march toward a new victory of socialist construction to demonstrate the might of our dignified and powerful state by dint of strong mental power of the people of a powerful country.
The mental power to be fully displayed by our people represents the one of singled-minded unity to advance forward, firmly united around the leader, the strong spirit of national self-sustenance, self-reliance and fortitude and the one of love and dedication to the future. It is a motive force for opening up an era and advancing the revolution, the article says, and goes on:
A fundamental factor deciding success or failure of socialist construction lies in the ideological and mental state of the popular masses that constitutes the motive force, not in objective material and economic conditions.
It is the immutable truth taught by the history of the arduous struggle of our revolution that the maximum display of the indefatigable spirit of the popular masses will turn impossibility into possibility and create new miracles and feats.
The unprecedented challenge in the way of advance and the huge tasks to be carried out by us call upon all the people to further display the indomitable spirit with pride and self-confidence of being citizens of the powerful country.
The mental power of the people united in single mind is found the vivid manifestation in the advance of the new century of Juche.
Our people are sharing the idea and intention with the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and keeping pace with it, entrusting their destiny entirely to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, though they face manifold ordeals and suffer difficulties in their life.
As there are the ranks of people with firm idea and faith upholding the leader with single mind, our country will always demonstrate its might as an invincible power.
All the officials, Party members and other working people should give full play to the strong mental power of the people of the powerful country and thus bring about substantial achievements and practical changes in the on-going gigantic struggle for achieving the overall prosperity and development of our style socialism.
