Rodong Sinmun Calls for Further Strengthening Popular Character in All Fields of State Work

Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun on Monday in an editorial says that it is important to further strengthen the spirit of service to the people in all fields of the state work to thoroughly implement the decisions set forth at the 8th Party Congress and the administrative policy of the DPRK government.
Saying that it is an indispensable requirement for fully demonstrating the advantages of our style socialism centered on the popular masses to further strengthen the spirit of service to the people in all fields of the state work, the editorial goes on:
The true feature of our state, that it believes in the people as in Heaven and regards it as a national custom to make selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people, and the intrinsic character of our style socialism lie in implementing the people-first principle in state activities and in the overall public life.
In all fields of politics, economy and culture of our country, top priority is given to the service for the people and it is regarded as absolute, and everything is directed to the promotion of their wellbeing.
It is an essential requirement for hastening a fresh victory of socialist construction by giving full play to the revolutionary zeal and inexhaustible creativity of the people to further strengthen the spirit of service to the people in all fields of the state work.
The on-going revolutionary advance for the prosperity and development of our state and happiness of the people will be recorded with days and months of miracles when the officials inspire the popular masses to give full play to the ardent patriotism.
The officials should keep the firm determination to make selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people, bearing in mind the noble view of our Party on the people.
The editorial calls upon all the officials to fulfill their sacred responsibility for the Party and the state by thoroughly implementing the people-first principle, bearing deep in mind our Party's intention and sincerity of loving care for the people. -0-
