Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un , general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, received a reply message from Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic, on Nov. 20.
The Syrian president in the message expressed deep gratitude to Kim Jong Un for sending warm congratulations and wishes on the 51st anniversary of the corrective movement in Syria.
He in the message said that he is grateful to Kim Jong Un for supporting the Syrian people in their struggle against barbaric terrorism and unreasonable blockade that has adverse impact on all fields of life.
He expressed the will to develop the bilateral relations and mutual cooperation on to a new stage in various fields in conformity with the interests of the peoples of the two friendly countries. -0-
