In June several years ago, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited an essential foodstuff factory.
One of its officials pointed to the machines of a production line of the factory’s own making. The respected General Secretary said with satisfaction that it was of no need to buy all the machines from other countries now that our scientists, technicians and workers could readily modernize production processes with machines they made by their own efforts.
After learning about another production line the factory had newly arranged by itself, he highly praised that the factory had been modernized as intended by the Party.
The factory had not only laid out modern production lines but also built flawless service facilities on its own. In short, the factory had put its production on a normal track in reliance on its own technology and raw materials and could be called an embodiment of the spirit of self-reliance.
Looking round every nook and corner of the factory, the General Secretary highly appreciated their achievements again and again.
That day, the respected General Secretary stressed that it was nice of them to have modernized production lines and established a cultured way of production and life but what he valued more than anything was that they had spruced up the factory by evoking the workers’ mental strength.
Only victory is in store for us as we have love and trust of the respected General Secretary who regards the spirit of self-reliance as the most precious and guides us with warm feelings.
