Pyongyang, November 25 (KCNA) -- In Kyongsong County, North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK, there is Yombunjin, a place famous for beautiful scenery.
Yombunjin is a historic place where President Kim Il Sung , Chairman Kim Jong Il and anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk left their traces to open a new history of fishery in the period of building a new country.
In order to convey their immortal feats, the inhabitants built it into a revolutionary site.
But Chairman Kim Jong Il , who had always kept the people's demand, aspiration and interests above all else, took a measure to turn the area into not only a revolutionary site but also a cultural resort for the people.
In November Juche 86 (1997), he visited the Yombun Revolutionary Site and gave precious teachings on moving the monument to the revolutionary activities to the entrance of the revolutionary site and sprucing up Yombunjin as a people's cultural resort.
Thanks to his detailed guidance, Yombunjin area was turned into a pleasure ground where the people can enjoy such cultural and emotional life as sea bathing, fishing and hot-spring bath.
Under the wise guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un true to the noble intention of Kim Jong Il , the Yombunjin area is now being changed into a peculiar seaside park having more lodging quarters and service facilities with Yombunjin Hotel as the center. -0-
