Pyongyang, November 28 (KCNA) -- Successes have been made through a dynamic mass campaign for river and stream improvement across the country.
Thanks to the efforts made by officials and working people, over 28 million cubic meters of river-beds were dredged and over 94 million cubic meters of earth and over 32 million square meters of stones laid to reinforce embankments this year.
In Hyangsan County, North Phyongan Province in particular, a river improvement project planned to be completed in the period of the general mobilization for land administration was finished in the first half of this year and an additional plan of dredging over 10 thousand cubic meters of river-beds fulfilled by early November.
Similar campaign is being pushed ahead with as planned in other provinces, cities and counties. -0-
