Pyongyang, December 1 (KCNA) -- There took place a meeting on Tuesday to mark the 50th founding anniversary of the Designing Institute of Electronics and Automation.
Attending the meeting were O Su Yong, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ju Yong Il, minister of IT Industry, officials concerned, officials and employees of the institute.
Read out at the meeting was a congratulatory message sent by the C.C., WPK to the designers and employees of the institute.
The Central Committee of the WPK in its message said that the history of the institute is adorned with fruitful days in which it has faithfully upheld with deep knowledge and high technology the Party's line on putting the national economy on a Juche, modern and scientific basis.
The message highly appreciated the designers and employees of the institute who have made valuable achievements at the honorable post in charge of designing, a cornerstone of the industry, in breaking through the cutting edge and made contributions to propelling the independent and modern development of the state economy.
