Pyongyang, December 19 (KCNA) -- The 60th anniversary of the creation of the new agricultural guidance system was marked in the DPRK.
President Kim Il Sung visited Sukchon County on Dec. 18, Juche 50 (1961) to set up a cooperative farm management committee of the county and create the above-said system for business guidance over the rural economy.
The system, based on the Juche idea and revolutionary mass line created under the wise leadership of the President, made it possible to intensify the state guidance and support for the cooperative economy in every way and fully display the might of the socialist rural economic system on the principle of collectivism.
Chairman Kim Jong Il steadily improved and strengthened the guidance over the rural economy and the management and operation of co-op farms by carrying forward the President's idea on agricultural guidance system and his feats for it.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un expounded all the issues arising in improving the rural economy and has wisely led the work to achieve rapid development of socialist agriculture with the might of the Korean-style agricultural guidance system.
A meeting in commemoration of the anniversary took place at Sukchon County Hall of Culture on Dec. 18.
Attending it were Ri Chol Man, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ju Chol Gyu, vice-premier of the Cabinet and minister of Agriculture, An Kum Chol, chief secretary of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Party, Pak Yong Nam, chairman of the Rural Economy Committee of the Province, officials concerned and agricultural workers in Sukchon County. -0-
