Declaring It as Eternal State Policy of the Republic

The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un took important measures at the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

He said that the supply of school uniforms to the children across the country at the state’s expense is not a work which may be omitted at one’s discretion in line with conditions but a policy of the Party and an eternal state policy of the republic which must be carried out unconditionally and preferentially.

In retrospect, the history of our republic is the one in which the state has regarded the work for posterity as its important policy and done everything possible for it.

President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, saying that the children are the kings of the country, saw to it that every state affair of the republic was thoroughly oriented toward the good of the rising generations.

The respected General Secretary set the work for the rising generation as an eternal core state policy of the republic with his iron will to carry forward the history of love for the rising generation which is continued with the history of the republic.

Today in our country, children are bringing their beautiful dreams and hopes into full bloom despite severe ordeals which would have brought others to their knees.

This proud reality is unthinkable without the wise leadership of the respected General Secretary who regards it as the eternal state policy of the republic to carry out the work for children unconditionally and preferentially.

Duty and Fundamental Obligation of Revolutionaries

The respected General Secretary said that to direct Party and nationwide efforts to the work for children is the fundamental duty and obligation of revolutionaries.

Benevolent care of the respected General Secretary reaches every baby home and orphanage, primary and middle school for orphans across the country as well as factories for the sake of children’s happiness, nurseries, kindergartens and schools.

Although he was so busy with national affairs, he gave field guidance to lots of units, giving precious instructions to pluck even a star out of heavens for the rising generation.

Indeed, thanks to the great revolutionary, the great fatherly leader, happiness of children is firmly guarded and the future of the nation is definitely ensured.

The 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th WPK Central Committee will be recorded in the history of Juche revolution as a historic meeting which engraved deep in minds of officials and people with the genuine meaning of the revolution and the true sense of duty of revolutionaries.

Along with Hearts of Great Leaders

At the plenary meeting the respected General Secretary, frankly stating his rock-ribbed will to supply smart and fine school uniforms to the students across the country, emphasized that the light industrial sector should exert itself to the production of school uniforms along with the hearts of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who, for the first time in the world history, set it as a policy of the Party and state to provide school uniforms to the children at the state’s expense.

Endless is the heart and soul the respected General Secretary put to provide the rising generation with homemade school uniforms, schoolbags and school things.

He has spent his valuable time examining designs for new school uniforms and frequently gave officials instructions on it. Once the new school uniform designs even crowded the conference hall of the Party Central Committee where the Party and state’s important affairs are discussed.

Thanks to his inexhaustible love, all the preschool children across the country have been presented with "Haebaragi (Sunflower)"-trademarked school supplies.

He continues his unprecedented devotion day after day to bring about and defend the happiness of the rising generations.

Under his benevolent love, the history of love for the rising generation created by the President and the Chairman continues and rosy is the future of our country where the children are put forward as king.
