Consultative meeting of Organizing Committee of Int'l Festival in Praise of Great Persons of Mt. Paektu held

A consultative meeting of the Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt. Paektu was held through video conferencing on the 7th.
Present there were the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, the National Chairman of the People's Progressive Party of Nigeria, the Co-Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for Supporting Peaceful Reunification of Korea, the Chairman of the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Vice-Chairman of the Socialist Freedom Party of Egypt who are Co-Chairmen of the Organizing Committee, the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) who is Vice-Chairman of the Organizing Committee and its members and the representatives of organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people in different countries and regions.
The meeting reviewed the work of the Organizing Committee and discussed an action plan to grandly celebrate the year 2022 on an international scale.
An opening address was made by the National Chairman of the People's Progressive Party of Nigeria and a report by the Co-Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for Supporting Peaceful Reunification of Korea.
The reporter stressed that humanity keenly felt the personality of the most distinguished leader of the present times and the popular leader, witnessing the greatness of His Excellency Kim Jong Un who is wisely leading the socialist construction by creditably carrying forward the cause of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il despite the unprecedented isolation and suffocation moves and the world health crisis.
Expressing the belief that the meeting would be an occasion for exchanging sincere and constructive opinions in working out the action plan of the Organizing Committee, he called for speaking highly of the undying exploits of the prominent leaders and conducting solidarity activities more actively to support the just cause of the Korean people in this significant year.
Speeches were made at the meeting.
Then, a press release of the Organizing Committee was made public.
The meeting adopted a letter to Kim Jong Un.
