Ever-victorious Weapon

In January Juche 105(2016), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un sent a congratulatory message to the workers, technicians and officials of the Sangwon Cement Complex who surpassed the peak-year level in production of cement in the preceding year.

He declared with pride in the message that our soldier-builders, workers and youths built the Sci-Tech Complex, Mirae Scientists Street, Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station, Chongchongang Power Station in Tiers and other grand monumental structures in different parts of the country in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu under the leadership of the Party and thus ushered in a great era of the country’s prosperity by doing ten years’ work in just one year, bringing about the dramatic change in the appearance of the country.

And he stressed that the remarkable success made by the Sangwon Cement Complex made us confident that the heinous moves of the hostile forces would never work on us as long as there were Kim Il Sung’s and Kim Jong Il’s heroic working class who have struggled holding fast to the revolutionary spirit of Paektu and principle of giving priority to self-development as an invincible weapon, only the glorious way would be opened in the future, too.

The respected General Secretary deeply implants in mind of the people the revolutionary spirit of Paektu as an invincible weapon.

Our people could make the first step in this year’s gigantic march for a fresh victory thanks to the wise leadership of the respected General Secretary who makes all the people perform miracles and bring about changes while smashing all the difficulties, bearing the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of blizzards of Paektu in their mind as a firm faith.

The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un ascended Mt Paektu on horseback three years ago.

At that time he told accompanying officials that the reason he spared his time to look round the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu was to establish the social atmosphere of further strengthening the education in the revolutionary traditions.

He continued that this was to instill the indefatigable revolutionary spirit of Mt Paektu into the Party members and other working people, soldiers of the Korean People’s Army and youths and students in line with the present situation and environment of our revolution in which the entire Party, the whole army and all the people have turned out for building a powerful socialist country with the indomitable mental power of self-reliance by regarding the line for self-prosperity advanced by our Party as their lifeline despite the unprecedented blockade and pressure imposed by the imperialists, and also in line with the needs to get prepared for the harshness and protracted character of our revolution.

The revolutionary idea and indomitable charging spirit of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il pervades all the revolutionary battle sites and revolutionary sites in the Mt Paektu area and the idea and spirit is ideological and mental treasure which makes us overcome all difficulties and open up the way of advance.

Therefore the respected General Secretary let all the people bear in their minds the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu.

Following his meaningful horse march from the bottom of their hearts, our people retain the revolutionary spirit of Paektu and the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu as their firm faith and make pledges to undauntedly advance towards the victory under the leadership of the respected General Secretary.
