The participants in the consultative meeting of the Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu sent a letter to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on January 7.
According to the letter, the organizing committee held a consultative meeting out of the common aspiration to glorify the year 2022 marking the 110th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, the 80th birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il and the 10th anniversary of HE Kim Jong Un's assumption of the top posts of the Korean Party and state as an auspicious year of progressive mankind.
The letter said the consultative meeting showed once again that the aspiration and enthusiasm of the progressive mankind to celebrate, together with the Korean people, the birth anniversaries of the great leaders of the DPRK, who had made immortal contributions to the cause of independence for humankind with their outstanding ideas and theories, rare leadership abilities and noble virtues, are growing stronger with the passage of time.
It noted that at present the world is gazing with deep emotion and admiration at the reality of the DPRK in which the ideology and cause of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il are being carried forward and developed by Kim Jong Un in an all-round way.
Many countries and regions are suffering from serious social instability, whereas miraculous events are unfolding in the DPRK one after another, which is the precious outcome of Your Excellency’s foresight, outstanding leadership and devoted service for the good of the people, it pointed out.
It said they are convinced that Korean-style socialism centred on the masses of the people, an ideal society of mankind, would continue to win victory after victory and the cause of global independence would advance more dynamically under his guidance.
The Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu will fulfill its mission and duty in handing down forever and adding lustre to the great revolutionary careers and exploits of the President and the Chairman and rendering positive support and encouragement to the Korean people's just cause for building a powerful socialist nation, the letter concluded.
