One day in July some years ago the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the then Samjiyon County and suggested having a photo session with the officials of Samjiyon County Party Committee and devoted his precious time to waiting for them. Then the respected General Secretary posed for a photo with the officials in front of the statue of Chairman Kim Jong Il in the county.
After the photo session, the respected General Secretary instructed the officials of the Samjiyon County Party Committee to discharge their duty in a responsible manner.
He said the officials there should be genuine servants of our people.
That day, the respected General Secretary earnestly instructed that they should believe in people as in heaven and uphold our people as they did the Chairman. And he added that they should transform the County Party Committee into people’s "parents’ home" where they could reveal their inward thoughts without reserve and a place firmly rooted in masses’ minds.
Only when we officials cherish deep in our minds his teaching given that day and remain loyal to people, can we be called their true servants as desired by the respected General Secretary.
