Pyongyang, January 17 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Monday editorially says that it is the unshakable will of all the people to surely shift the building of Korean-style socialism to its comprehensive development and fully demonstrate the dignity and tremendous spirit of the state by thoroughly implementing the great action programme advanced at the Party congress.
The Workers' Party of Korea's idea on the overall development of socialism reflects the noble intention to bring earlier the prosperity of the state and the people's happiness, the editorial says, and goes on:
It is the intention of our Party that the state's prosperity should be expedited through simultaneous development of all fields and sectors and there should be no regional difference in the life of the people though they live in different places.
Today, our Party calls for ensuring the balanced, simultaneous development of local areas while preserving their unique features, as well as developing the capital and every province, city and county at the same time in all aspects of politics, economy and culture. When a new phase of changing and developing local areas is opened up so that the differences between workers and farmers, industry and agriculture and city and countryside can be substantially reduced, the people across the country will lead a happy, civilized life.
When all the sectors and units substantially develop in a balanced way, our own strength and internal driving force can be increased and our-style socialism will advance full of vigor.
We need no any established theory and model and don't have to imitate others as we have already set an example in socialist construction startling the world with our strength, wisdom and strenuous efforts. Unwavering is the faith and will of our Party and people to pave an avenue toward comprehensive development and prosperity and bring earlier a brighter future with the mental strength of national independence and national self-sustenance. -0-
