Over 220 young men and women in South Phyongan Province and more than 100 young people in North Phyongan Province were resolved to produce a miraculous legend of youth in the forefront of socialist construction where the Party and the revolution call.
Meetings were held respectively on the spots on January 17 to congratulate the young people who volunteered for difficult and labour-consuming sectors in socialist construction.
They were attended by An Kum Chol, chief secretary of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials of North Phyongan Province and officials and members of the youth league. The certificate of volunteering was awarded to volunteers and speeches were made there.
Speakers called on all young people to become performers of miracles and feats in the dauntless general advance of this year to hasten the overall prosperity and development of Korean-style socialism as befit successors and reserves of the Workers’ Party of Korea who have grown up in the embrace of General Secretary Kim Jong Un.
They expressed their resolve to glorify their precious youth with heroic feats in ebullient battlefields without breaking even for a moment the pledge they made for the sake of the country and revolution and invariably follow the road of patriotism to the last.
Officials and working people in North and South Phyongan provinces gave volunteers encouragement and warm send-off.
