Pyongyang, January 19 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Wednesday dedicates an article to the 30th publication anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il 's immortal classic work "On Juche Literature".
The work, published on Jan. 20, Juche 81 (1992), deals with the idea that the outlook on literature and arts, a foundation for producing literary and art works based on the Juche idea, should be settled in the principle of placing the popular masses in the center of works and making them serve the people. And it indicates the tasks and ways for thoroughly embodying the Juche-oriented realism.
The work is the most unique and scientific encyclopedia on literary construction, which is far beyond comparison with any book on the theory of literature and arts in the world, for its originality and truthfulness in contents, regularity and perfection in systematic constitution, versatility and detailed analyticity, scientific profundity and popularity in description and gem-like propositions, the article says, and goes on:
Over the past three decades since the publication of the work, our literature has steadily developed, strikingly displaying the validity and vitality of the Juche-based literary theory.
The course of consistently embodying the idea and theory advanced by the work is a history in which our literature has fully demonstrated its might in the struggle to victoriously advance the revolutionary cause of Juche.
The history and reality go to clearly prove that only when we conduct the creative activities with "On Juche Literature", the immortal programme for building literature, as a guideline is it possible to preserve the nature of our literature and continuously and fully display its might as a weapon of the revolution and construction. -0-
