On January 16, Juche 107 (2018), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited newly-remodeled Pyongyang Teacher Training College.
His greatest satisfaction was that the officials and teaching staff of the college set an excellent example in improving the contents of the college’s education, teaching methods, educational conditions and environment.
After learning in detail about the work of the college, the respected General Secretary highly appreciated that they developed five-point educational programs, e-education materials and education aid programs, wrote a large number of teaching materials to implement the universal 12-year compulsory education programme, introduced educational forecasting technology to give scientific lectures with the main emphasis on the independent thinking of the students and achieved many other successes in the scientific research.
Looking round the college that day, he said with satisfaction that all the classrooms were well equipped to be multi-functional classrooms capable of giving students practical training in their specialties and that the teaching methods in the virtual teaching situation and in the actual teaching situation were new and peculiar.
When he dropped in at the gymnasium, he was pleased to see the multi-functional hall for political and cultural events as well as various sports games. Looking round the library, he said with a broad smile that it was wonderful and it was a miniature of the Sci-Tech Complex.
He said with great satisfaction that the excellent educational conditions and environment were provided for the teachers and students. He noted that he seemed to have picked even a star from the sky for the educators in charge of our future and provided a golden cushion to them, adding that the bright future of the country was well pictured before him.
The proud reality at Pyongyang Teacher Training College makes sure that our country will shine as a country of education and a talent power envied by the whole world, thanks to the respected General Secretary who is making a new history of love for the rising generations and the future on this land.
