Tasting Hot Spring Water in Person
The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected the hot spring area in Yangdok County some years ago.
Feasting his eyes on the gushing-out hot spring water of over 80 degrees Celsius, he expressed his great satisfaction with a broad smile.
For the construction of the hot spring resort, he had made rounds of the hot springs in and around Onjong-ri, Yangdok County, and learnt about the yield of hot spring water and the surroundings in person.
Out of indescribable delight which filled his heart, he tried the hot spring water and said in pleasure that it tasted as sweet as honey.
His words vividly showed how he valued the spring water which was to benefit the people and give them added pleasure.
Equivalent to the spring of eternal happiness to the people is the respected General Secretary’s inexhaustible devotion and love for them.
Thinking of People’s Convenience First
One June day in Juche 107(2018), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Taedonggang Seafood Restaurant.
The restaurant resembling a ship on the water has large indoor pools teeming with delicious fishes and shellfishes, fishing area and so on its first floor.
He said the first floor of the restaurant was worthy of notice and the indoor pools full of fishes gave him so much pleasure.
The accompanying officials, too, marveled at the panorama of the restaurant’s interior.
Presently, the respected General Secretary pointed out that the tiles around the indoor pools might get slippery in case of getting wet and that interior paving blocks had to be laid aslant instead to drain water off promptly.
He went on to teach officials that people’s convenience had to be given top priority and regarded as absolute in doing everything no matter how trivial they might be.
Thanks to his attentive care for the people’s convenience, the tiles were replaced with interior paving blocks.
