Pyongyang, January 26 (KCNA) -- It is the noble intention of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to turn our country into the one prospering with education and opening up the bright future by improving education.
Pyongyang Teachers Training College was successfully rebuilt as a model teachers training college of the DPRK. Education there has been put on a high scientific, IT and modern basis. It is also associated with such noble intention of Kim Jong Un who regards education as the invariable foremost task in developing the revolution.
He visited the newly remodeled college despite the biting cold in January, Juche 107 (2018).
At a room dedicated to the history of the college, an education science exhibition hall, an education control room, a multi-function classroom, a library, a gymnasium, etc., he learned in detail about its modernization and educational work and expressed great satisfaction.
He highly praised its educators for compiling lots of textbooks and achieving great scientific research successes such as the introduction of the technology for educational estimation helpful to students' self-thinking into lectures.
He gave important instructions arising in putting the preschool and primary school education on a fresh scientific footing, including the issues of improving and perfecting the educational curriculums, increasing the proportion of experiment and practice and concentrating educational work on raising students' creativity.
Since his guidance to the college, it has pioneered new subjects, introduced more practical and advantageous methods into education and strengthened its teaching staff both in quality and quantity through innovations in the post-graduate course.
It spurs the scientific educational work to train more and better revolutionary talents capable of dynamically propelling the overall development of socialist construction, true to the idea and spirit of the historic 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. -0-
