Pyongyang, February 5 (KCNA) -- The emergency epidemic prevention units at all levels in the DPRK are waging an offensive campaign to ensure the unity in action of all the people amid the world health crisis getting worse due to the rapid spread of the Omicron variant.
The central emergency epidemic prevention sector makes sure that emergency epidemic prevention institutions further enhance their function and role to strengthen the lockdown, physical test and examination and disinfection.
Officials are establishing the strict discipline and order to implement the state anti-epidemic measures correctly in time. They conduct the offensive ideological education to fuel the atmosphere of mass anti-epidemic campaign where all the people help and control each other. Also, an agitprop offensive is propelled to ensure that everyone maintains high tension and nation-wide voluntary unity in the emergency epidemic prevention campaign.
All institutions, industrial establishments and farms direct efforts to making their employees get a proper understanding of anti-epidemic knowledge and general information on hygiene, while urging them to thoroughly and regularly conduct the disinfection of offices, worksites, fixtures, equipment and raw materials.
Public health institutions pay attention to preventing respiratory diseases like a cold among inpatients and residents under the winter weather conditions and more strictly conduct the physical examination of outpatients.
