Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- A meeting to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il 's visit to the Potato-processing Factory in Taehongdan County of Ryanggang Province, the DPRK, took place on the spot on Feb. 23.
Attending it were Ri Thae Il, chief secretary of the Ryanggang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), officials concerned and officials and employees of the factory.
Pak Kuk Phil, manager of the factory, made a report at the meeting.
The reporter said that the Chairman visited the factory on February 23, Juche 91(2002) and other occasions to clearly show the road ahead of the factory.
He referred to the fact that the Chairman took measures for fully equipping the factory with modern production facilities and led it to substantially serve the people while giving instructions on goods packing and management method.
He noted that the officials and employees of the factory have achieved proud successes in the production and construction in the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance over the past 20 years, true to Kim Jong Il 's instructions and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un 's noble intention of love for the people.
He called on the officials and employees of the factory to add glory to the honor of being the unit associated with leadership exploits and make significant contribution to the improvement of the people's standard of living in the struggle for implementing the decisions made at the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th WPK Central Committee. -0-
