Spokesperson for Chinese Foreign Ministry Censures American Cyber-attacks

A Chinese firm devoted to internet security has recently released the information disclosing the large-scale cyber-attacks carried out by the United States National Security Agency (NSA) for the last ten years targeting over 40 countries and regions including China. In this regard, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China made a strong denunciation of the malicious cyber-attacks of the United States.
Referring to the release of relevant information by the Chinese firm devoted to internet security, the spokesperson pointed out that the U.S. has severely infringed upon the security of Chinese major facilities, large number of private data, and commercial and technical secrets by launching large-scale, systematic cyber-attacks against China for a long time, thus having a serious impact on the confidence-building between China and the U.S. in the domain of cyberspace.
He continued to state that the U.S. is not at all adhering to the relevant international regulations in cyberspace, and many of the countries cooperating with the U.S. are even becoming the targets of the American cyber-attacks.
The spokesperson denounced the maneuvering of the U.S., the world’s biggest “hacking empire”, for painting itself as “victim” and misleading the international society, and urged the U.S. to stop the cyber-attacks and the acts of stealing secrets being conducted against China and many other countries in the world.
The U.S. is outrageously violating the sovereignty and security of other countries by misusing the cyberspace – the space which should be harnessed for the well-being and prosperity of the humankind – in an attempt to realize its ambition for hegemony. These indiscriminate acts by the U.S. are doomed to due denunciation and rejection of the international society aspiring after justice.
