Pyongyang, April 25 (KCNA) -- A national photo show opened to celebrate the 90th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army (KPRA).
On display at the show venue are photos dealing with the undying feats of the peerlessly great persons who achieved the great cause of building an army by dint of self-reliance from scratch and strengthened the Korean People's Army into a matchless elite revolutionary army to provide a powerful military guarantee for the victorious advance of the socialist cause.
Among them are photos showing the history of the anti-Japanese armed struggle waged by President Kim Il Sung who founded the KPRA, the first revolutionary armed forces of Juche type, to achieve the historic cause of liberating the country.
Some photos show the greatness of the President who developed the KPRA into the regular revolutionary armed forces and laid a solid foundation for the self-reliant defence industry.
Some photos show the patriotic efforts of Chairman Kim Jong Il who devoted himself to the country's prosperity and the wellbeing of all generations to come, pushing his way through an untrodden thorny path with his Songun revolutionary leadership.
There are also photos dealing with the great achievements of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , a peerless patriot who has creditably carried forward the army-building cause of Juche to demonstrate to the full the might of the powerful revolutionary army.
An opening ceremony took place at the April 25 House of Culture on April 24.
Present there were Ri Il Hwan, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Sung Jong Gyu, Minister of Culture, officials of Party and power organs and labor innovators. -0-
