Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) -- North Phyongan Province of the DPRK has rapidly and correctly organized the overall work in keeping with the maximum emergency epidemic prevention situation.
The province is further strengthening the grasp and control so that all its regions and units unconditionally accept and implement to the end the instructions and assignments of the central emergency epidemic prevention sector.
It is offensively conducting the political information work so that the inhabitants have a correct understanding of the state emergency steps and display high self-consciousness in implementing them. It is also meticulously organizing the economic work and paying primary efforts to stabilizing the people’s life to the maximum.
It also intensifies the blockade duty and anti-epidemic observation suited to the characteristics of regions with border and sea coast and raises the demand for preserving the system of immediately informing abnormal phenomena.
Public health workers and hundreds of teachers, postgraduate students and students are strictly conducting the intensive examination of all inhabitants and directing all their efforts to quarantining and curing those with fever.
