Revolutionary Nature of Our Party

In August, Juche 109(2020), the 16th meeting of the Political Bureau of the 7th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) took place under guidance of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

At that time, inhabitants in the areas damaged by disastrous heavy rains and floods were living in the evacuated areas, undergoing great pains.

Briefing on a general situation of flood damage, the respected General Secretary said that the flood-stricken people must be suffering great as they were living in temporary dwelling places with their houses and family properties lost. He earnestly said that it was a crucial time that our Party must be responsible for their living and we had to go closer to them to share the pain with them and to relieve them of their sufferings.

He set forth tasks for different sectors to eradicate the damage of the flood and bring the living of the people to normal at an early date. He specified detailed ways for this.

He said that through the active rehabilitation drive we had to prove in practice once again the revolutionary nature of our Party which shares misfortune and pain with the people and protects them by removing all those pains, the advantages of our social system. He repeatedly stressed the need for our Party to fulfill its sacred duty so that it would not feel ashamed of itself before the people and surely live up to the trust and expectation of the people.

His instructions that day is an eruption of his ardent sincerity who regards it as the most important revolutionary work to alleviate people’s misfortune.

Regarding It As Greatest Pleasure

One April day in Juche 108(2019), the respected General Secretary visited the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort under construction.

Looking round the construction site in which another civilization of the times was being created he was very satisfied all along.

He said to the officials that however hard and difficult it might be we should continue the struggle to bring earlier such new civilizations and as long as it was the work for our people we should keep running with all burdens on our shoulders without any stop.

It was a meaningful instruction which taught that the work for people’s happiness must be carried through without giving up halfway.

Noting that there may be some temporary difficulties and trials in the course of struggle he earnestly said that as I kept emphasizing to officials, we should regard it as the greatest pleasure and fortune in the world to run for the people with all burdens on our shoulders and nobody could work hard for the people instead of us.

Regarding it as the greatest pleasure to work hard for people!

The officials engraved in their hearts again how they should serve for the people’s happiness with what preparedness and spirit.
