Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- The 9th Meeting of the Political Bureau of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) was held at the office building of the WPK Central Committee on June 7.
It was attended by the members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and members and alternate members of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee.
Upon authorization by the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, Jo Yong Won, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and secretary for Organizational Affairs of the Party Central Committee, presided over the meeting.
The meeting decided on the agenda of the 5th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee, and examined and approved the important documents, including the report on the interim review of the work for implementing the Party and state policies to be submitted to the plenary meeting, and the discussion form and schedule of an enlarged plenary meeting and the selection of observers. -0-
