President of the Russian Federation
I, on behalf of the government and people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, send warm congratulations to you and the friendly government and people of the Russian Federation on the occasion of the National Day of the Russian Federation.
Under your leadership, the Russian people have resolutely overcome all challenges and difficulties and achieved great successes in the accomplishment of the just cause for defending the dignity, security and right to development of the country, and the Korean people are extending full support and encouragement to it.
It is the firm stand of the government of our Republic to value the DPRK-Russia relations with a long history and tradition of friendship and comprehensively expand and develop them in keeping with the demand of the new times and aspirations of the people of the two countries.
I express the belief that the DPRK-Russia relations of friendship and cooperation which entered a new turning phase after our first meeting in Vladivostok in April 2019 would continue to strengthen and develop vigorously in all fields and that the strategic and tactical cooperation between the two countries would become closer in the journey for defending international justice and ensuring security of the world.
Availing myself of this opportunity, I sincerely wish you good health and the friendly Russian people well-being and prosperity.
